Sage Starter

I saw a floor plan on the Sims 4 Community Facebook page and really wanted to try it.  Its fairly simple, but there wasn't an exterior and I like the challenge of that. I have this tendency to build rooms and 'stitch' them together, unless I had a big plan in mind like the Stately Estate build that I did recently, and when I'm all done I stare at the outside for a little bit until inspiration hits.

Sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, that happened this time :(.  I like it...it just doesn't wow me.  Judge for yourself :).

Inspiration:

My interpretation:

I did purposely leave the area around the house devoid of landscaping simply to reduce costs to anyone that wanted to use it as a starter home.  Its still fairly pricey in terms of Simoleons, but, let's face it, a good portion of us use Motherlode :).

In the gallery upload there is an issue with the roof coming into the room on Bedroom 1.  I didn't notice until after I had uploaded it...I HATE when I do that! As you can see in the overhead shot up above (#4), I did fix it for pictures by shortening the large square into a rectangle and adding a smaller rectangle to the side that wraps around. I didn't want to do the extra work required to actually 'fix' the large roof piece I was using before.

If I had to list my weak points:
  1. Landscaping
  2. Roofs
  3. ...and Double checking my build before I upload it.
