I created Bob Ross' home in Florida for my new Bob Ross Challenge. Here are images of his home:

I didn't have photos of the inside so I just created a layout that made sense to me. I hope you like it.

Recently I was one of KevaLilly's streams talking about a restaurant in my town with the giant rooster at the entrance. She was looking for buildings for her Sims 4 game save and I decided to take on the challenge of making a Sims representation for her to use.  So this is the original...

The actual restaurant is great for seafood and, you'll never guess......Chicken!!  Although this is a much smaller build, it does have a nice old-fashioned feel to it.  I started it as a bit of a joke, but now I use it all the time in my game 😁.

Athsndwords 1st Build Challenge

Roll the dice to find which of the 3 images on the graphic will be your build inspiration. Then, decide what type of room you want to create: kitchen, patio, bathroom, etc.  Finally, have fun.  Be crazy. Be creative! When deciding how to decorate, some ideas would be to imagine that this is hanging on the wall and you have to decorate around it OR you decorate and create based on how the image makes you feel.

I do ask that you not use CC, but IF you do, I will take submissions in the form of a Youtube / Twitch speed-build.

I will go through the entries on 3/7 during my Twitch livestream and do my own entry. A winner will be chosen and will receive their choice of Sims Game or Stuff pack. Submissions need to be in by midnight CST March 6th.

Where I've Been

Oh my Goodness! I can't believe its been since August and I feel awful about it!  I have been building my heart out, but I have been teaching myself how to make videos on YouTube.

I also, (Shockingly!), have begun to stream on Twitch - twitch.tv/athsndwords!!!! (Below is my cute little Offline screen)

The most surprising thing for me has been the fact that creating the video, doing a voice over and editing has all been quicker than a single post I did on here.  I honestly didn't expect that to be the case.

I will still post photos here of my builds, but I'll most likely post a video / slideshow of the images with narration or a blog post with it.  I will also be posting my videos from YouTube and probably Twitch too. 

I'm not saying my videos are winning any awards, BUT we all have to start somewhere.  I'm proud of how far I've gotten with all of this an I'm excited about the future.

Green Dream

My simself needed a new place to live after her baby-daddy died and left her with a young child and one on the way. So, based on this image that I found on Pinterest (again!), I created a family home that should last them quite a while. There are 48 images for this build - I love it that much!  Also, its very playable and my sims are very happy in it. Oh crap! I just noticed I didn't get any images of the basement! *smacks forehead* Ok...well, there is one overhead shot of basement....guess that will have to work?

Basement - only image - has bathroom, cheap chairs, games and some workout stuff. Could be a hangout place or a teen bedroom later :)

Think of this like a southern style, screened in, porch.  *If Only!*  Ceiling fans would be nice here :)

2nd living space meant to be more kid friendly / teen hangout space. As you can see, mom had to share this space - her office is on other side of curtain :).
